Eastman Cyphrex microfibers are a big deal. In fact, they're changing the nonwoven fiber market, opening up possibilities never before imagined in industries such as filtration, batteries and specialty papers. Eastman needed a comprehensive communications campaign to get the word out. Other companies in this market focus on straightforward features and benefits, but we needed to help Eastman make a bigger impact.
We showed microfiber customers that they could completely revolutionize the way they worked. The campaign wasn't about the microfiber itself. It was all about the creativity and explosion of ideas our audiences could have when designing and manufacturing with Eastman Cyphrex microfibers. This revolutionary approach in a category that's typically static helped us create amazing results.
A pre-event e-blast campaign had a 22% open rate in a BtoB space where the average is 19.7%. During the campaign launch, the average website visit lasted more than three minutes, up from less than two minutes before the product launch campaign. And the client was thrilled when the e-newsletter banner ad campaign clocked in with a total click-through rate of 12%. Most importantly, the broader industry is taking notice. The Wall Street Journal, Financial Post and CNBC all have run stories about Eastman Cyphrex microfibers.
